West Acre Tree Nursery has been growing high quality native broadleaf and coniferous trees for forestry and woodland creation schemes for over 10 years here on the West Acre Estate in north west Norfolk. Our Plant Healthy Certification ensures all our trees are suitable for English Woodland Creation Offer schemes.

We are now doubling our current stock base of over 200,000 cell grown trees to include more hedgerow, shelter bed, woodland mix and field planted trees to meet the demand for hedgerow replacement, conservation projects, river management and rewilding projects. Our peat-free cell grown trees ensure a strong, complete root system and year-round planting availability.

We focus on UK providence seed to tree growth on galvanised metal benches in 40 cell trays or root training tray systems. From 2025 most of our one-year sowings will be grown in our new poly tunnels to be finished off outside in the second year to ensure a strong, healthy and durable tree.

We grow trees to order for specific projects on request and have a selection of pot-grown larger trees, fruit trees and bare-root trees available.

West Acre Tree Nursery can also supply tree guards, tree stakes, weed mats and ties to complete a planting scheme. In addition, we can provide planting services via our nominate sub-contractor.
